Claude Token Counter
Know how many tokens your Claude API request will use – before you send it.
What it does
Claude Token Counter is a small Windows program that sends your request to Anthropic’s official token counting service and shows how many input tokens it would use. Nothing is sent to the model, nothing is generated, and the count itself is free.
Use it to check prompt size, compare models, and plan costs and context limits for your own Claude API programs.
Features
MessagesSystem prompt plus a full multi-turn conversation (user / assistant).
Images & PDFsAttach JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP and PDF files and see what they cost.
